About Me

William “Charlie” Goldfarb is a film composer based in Los Angeles.

He is a dual citizen of Switzerland and the United States, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History at UCLA.

During his time at UCLA, Charlie was a member of the UCLA Chorale, and studied Piano Performance under Dr. James Lent. With the special approval of the composition faculty, he also studied Film Composition with Dr. Peter Golub.

He obtained the rank of Lieutenant in the Swiss Air Force, serving in managerial and educational roles as Platoon Leader and led instruction for air transport operations, military communication systems, small-team infantry tactics, firearms, and military martial arts. Additionally, he interned as an analyst in finance at Morgan Stanley in the United States, and as a food chemist in the UK.
